Direction before speed

Speed only matters when the direction is right. Going fast in the wrong direction costs time twice: once to get there and again to come back. We would rather pause before starting and confirm the path.

Time spent deciding direction is not wasted. Time spent moving without one is. An extra day thinking that saves a month of work is a trade we will take every time.

If we have to choose between speed and direction, we choose direction. We wait until we can have both.
