Website terms, full text
Effective Last updated
Article 1. Scope and definitions
These terms set out the basic conditions, rights, duties, and responsibilities for use of the public company-information website operated by Corent (us). The website does not provide an account service, product interface, API, or federated network.
“Submitted material” means information such as an email address and message that you send for an inquiry or policy-update request. A “separate agreement” means a written or electronic agreement for outsourced development, hosting, SaaS, or other work. If a separate agreement exists, it controls the work and the parties it covers.
Article 2. Using and changing the website
The website’s company information and policy documents are free to read. The current public website does not sell products or take online payments. We may revise website content or change, limit, or suspend part of the website for law, security, system maintenance, a provider failure, or operational need.
If we provide paid work under a separate agreement, that agreement sets its scope, price, payment, and refund terms. These terms or use of the website do not create a separate agreement.
Article 3. Submitted material and permission to handle it
At launch, the website contact form and policy-update request are unavailable, and direct inquiries use mail@corent.fyi. When those features are enabled, you must send only accurate information needed for an inquiry or request. Do not send a password, financial information, national identification number, medical information, trade secret, or another person’s personal data.
You must have the right and any permission needed to send submitted material. You permit us to check, copy, transmit, and retain it only as needed to answer an inquiry or process a policy-update request. Sending submitted material does not promise a reply, contract, employment, product, or particular result.
Article 4. Prohibited conduct and our actions
You must not break the law or another person’s rights, impersonate another person, send spam, phishing, or malware, access without permission, make excessive automated requests, disclose private information without consent, or interfere with website operation.
We may limit or delete submitted material, limit requests, or block transmission to comply with law, protect rights, or protect website safety and normal operation. Where possible, we will tell you the reason and how to contact us. We may act without advance notice where an urgent security response or legal duty requires it. Report an infringement to mail@corent.fyi and make a privacy-related request at privacy@corent.fyi.
Article 5. Public material and personal data
Company information and policy documents on the website may be public and may be stored or quoted by search engines or external services. They may remain in a search engine, cache, or third-party storage after we revise or remove them. Website material is general information and does not replace professional legal, medical, financial, or other advice.
We process personal data under applicable law and the privacy policy. That policy explains the categories, purposes, retention, processors, international processing, and rights that apply to personal data.
Article 6. Disclaimers and limits on liability
We make reasonable efforts to operate the website, but do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for loss caused without our intentional act or negligence by your own fault, force majeure, a provider or third-party system, material you submit or receive, search-engine, cache, or third-party storage or copying, or a security incident outside our reasonable control.
These terms do not limit liability for our intentional act or gross negligence, liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to limit, or rights that mandatory consumer law grants.
Article 7. Governing law and disputes
The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to these terms and to use of the website when no separate agreement controls. If a dispute arises, both parties will first try to resolve it by agreement. Jurisdiction over an unresolved dispute is determined by applicable law and the Civil Procedure Act.
If a court or competent authority holds part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force.
Article 8. Contact and changes to these terms
We may change these terms to reflect law, website operation, or protection of user rights. We will give reasonable advance notice of an important change and its effective date. Changed terms apply from the published effective date.
